Description
Reduce upgrade cost to 40% (50% with Veteran difficulty 1.25 multiplier)
And shout out to Unrestricted Equipment Upgrades by FESilencer
This combination aims to make:
1. Every set of upgraded armor more cost effective,
less incentivized to rush for PSZ-9I Falcon, as upgraded PSZ-7 Military Body Armor is perfectly fine till heavy-rad/psi area.
2. Smoother gear progression, Koupon can be spent on early armor set without feeling too wasteful.
3. No longer forced to do errant for bartender or artifacts run in order to stay away from bankruptcy.
4. Encounter wouldn’t result in a firm deficit, just because you took a few hits.
5. Better roleplay experience, less min/maxing, dripping the zone.
Installation
Extract the downloaded zip-file into the following directory
” *Game Directory*/Stalker2/Content/Paks/~mods ”
Note: If you do not have a mods folder already, create a new folder in ” *Game Directory*/Stalker2/Content/Paks/ ” and name it “~mods” (without the quotes)
Known Issues
I use python script to process the vanilla file, shouldn’t have any error, but please do let me know.
Compatibility
This mod edits the following files:
“\Stalker2\Content\Gamelite\GameData\UpgradePrototypes.cfg”
Any other mod editing these same files will conflict with this mod, which is highly likely mod related to vanilla armor/weapon upgrades.
