This Mod removes Drunkenness Effect: camera shake, color change, dizziness. Tested with S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 v1.9+ works.
About This Mod
Removes the Drunkenness visual effect in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
No more:
– Camera shake
– Color distortion
– Dizziness / motion wobble
Tested and confirmed working on v1.9+
Gameplay mechanics remain unchanged — only the visual disturbance is removed.
Description
This mod completely disables the visual drunkness effect triggered when consuming Vodka or Beer.
Preserves:
– All gameplay systems
– Status mechanics
– Balance
Removes:
– Post-process blur and color shift
– Chromatic distortion
– Camera shake / movement wobble
You still get drunk mechanically — you just won’t feel like your screen is melting.
Installation
1. Navigate to:
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods
2. Drop:
NoDrunknessEffect.pak
If the ~mods folder does not exist, create one manually.
Both names work:
– ~mods
– ~mods_
Launch the game. Done.
