Better Suits
My little rebalance mod designed to add some diversity and logic to your choice of protection.
Better Suits is my take on how armors should have been balanced from the start. I also tried to keep it as much lore-friendly and logical as possible.
Most of the changed were made to mid-tier suits, while exos almost weren’t touched.
For example, OZK suit have less burn protection than before(bc of rubber elements), shock and chemical protection is almost on par with Sunrise, while having much less ballistic protection. Sunrise Suit at this time have increased anomalous resistances and +1 artifact slot. This won’t save you from insta-killing electro anomaly on the Veteran, but it will give you chances if you upgrade it further or utilize that one additional slot to fill with Moonlight. Also, those few Varta-issued PSZ-20W Convoy suits scattered across the Zone in stashes can now really help you on mid-game if you don’t want to invest in better armor, because it has now overall better characteristics, and on-par with rebalanced Aeroprotection gasmask you should feel a bit more comfortable than before.
What have been changed:
-Made physical and psi-protection match on ballistic and tactical helmets since second are just upgraded version of first with gasmask
-Sphere M20 protects less against physical dangers, improved shock, rad, burn and chemical resists
-Aurora gasmask have now more of anomalous resistances, and a bit less of rad
-Overall buff of Universal Protection suits, also each faction’s focus on resistances are more expressed
-Buff to PSZ-20W Convoy
-Buffed SEVAs to be ~2.0 in stats
-Buffed PSZ-9s to be ~1.5 in stats
-Weight changes to exosuits
-Corundum suit now weights 2kg more, has anomalous protection around ~1.2
