Overhauls Mutant Hit-Point amounts with 10 presets to choose from as well as individual files to customize the mod to your liking!

Updated for Patch 1.6 and beyond – does not replace any cfg files!

Doesn’t break Mutant Looting!

This mod contains many .pak files to change mutant Hitpoints. The mod is fully modular and is lightweight. It doesn’t overwrite any cfg files, it uses bpatch to patch them instead.
Included are a folder of individual Hitpoint choices for each mutant, as well as a folder of two sets of presets ranging from Easy to Nightmare difficulties.

With this mod you can simply choose a preset or you create/edit it your own preset by picking and choosing individual files.

Presets
The presets are broken up into two categories – Vanilla Presets and Balanced Presets

Vanilla presets are similar to the original Stalker 2 mutant HP just with variations scaling from 50% less mutant hitpoints to 75% more mutant hitpoints.
Vanilla presets are recommended if you want the same game balance as Vanilla Stalker 2, but with less or more HP for each mutant.

Balanced presets are similar to the Stalker Anomaly and GAMMA modifications when it comes to Mutant Hitpoints.
Bloodsuckers, Burers, Cats, Boars, Fleshes, PseudoDogs, and Poltergeists are much less tanky compared to Vanilla. Other mutants have slightly reduced Hitpoints as well to weapon damage feel more consistent
Balanced presets are recommended if you are looking for the same game balance as Stalker Anomaly and GAMMA, where weapons feel like they have a bit more punch.

Both presets have multiple difficulties to choose from – Easy – Easy-Medium – Medium – Medium-Hard – Hard – Nightmare

—> Easy, Easy-Medium, and Medium difficulites reduce Mutant HP
—> Medium-Hard, Hard, and Nightmare difficulties increase Mutant HP,

NOTE: These presets are balanced for Stalker 2 Veteran difficulty. The mods higher difficulty Vanilla presets are much more difficult than the mods higher difficulty Balanced Presets.

IF you are not sure what preset to start with – I highly recommend the MEDIUM BALANCED preset as it’s very similar to Stalker Anomaly/GAMMA

Instructions:
Extract the contents of the zip file or open the zip file in 7zip or Winrar.

If choosing individual pak files, choose the desired .pak files from the “All Individual Mutant Files” folders and place them in your ~mods folder

If choosing a Preset from the “Presets” folder, simply copy the folder of the preset you want to use and paste the folder into your ~mods folder.

If at any time you want to change presets, simply delete the installed preset folder and copy a different one to your ~mods folder
To edit your preset, simply delete the pak file of the mutant you want to change then open the included “All Individual Mutant Files” folder and pick your a different pak file for the mutant of your choice and place it in your ~mods or preset folder.

The ~mods folder should be located here —-> \S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods
If you do not have a folder called ~mods in your Paks folder, simply create one. Do not forget the ~ symbol

The naming scheme for each file is as follows
MutantHP(Mutant-Name)(HitPoint-Amount)_(Load-OrderNumber)_P.pak
Example – MutantHPBloodsucker400_99_P.pak

If it seems there are conflicts causing the mod not to work, try changing the load order number to load higher. I.E. 99 —> 1 – so for example from MutantHPBloodsucker400_99_P.pak to MutantHPBloodsucker400_1_P to make it load first, which may prevent conflicts.

Compare the default Mutant HP below to the presets and files to help you pick your preset/files –
Blind Dog HP —> 63
Bloodsucker HP —> 500
Boar HP —> 300
Burer HP —> 400
Cat HP —> 400
Chimera HP —> 1400
Controller HP —> 500
Deer HP —> 600
Flesh HP —> 280
Poltergeist HP —> 400
Pseudodog HP —> 300
Pseudogiant HP —> 2500
Snork HP —> 150
TushKan HP —> 19

Conflicts
Any mods that replace mutant cfg files in the ObjPrototypes folder will overwrite this mod. To prevent this from happening, don’t use any other mods that edit mutants unless the mod states that it patches those mutant cfg files with bpatch.
