A Personal Journey Into the Zone
I still remember playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 when it first came out. It was atmospheric, mysterious, and beautiful — but also borderline unplayable. My FPS constantly dipped, the stutters were sharp and frequent, and the Lumen lighting looked like someone poured sand over the screen — grainy and unstable. After a couple months, I decided to revisit the game. But even with all the latest patches, the optimization was still lacking. I tried configs from other modders — some worked, some didn’t — and none felt consistently reliable across systems.So I decided to fix that myself.With enough coffee and determination, I spent hours crafting and testing engine configs for nearly every GPU that can realistically run the game. I wrote each one from scratch. And now, they’re ready.

This optimization pack adapts S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2’s Unreal Engine 5 settings specifically for your GPU. Why These Configs Are Different
Unlike other mods, I didn’t create generic Low, Medium, or High presets. Each config is custom-written to push your specific GPU just far enough to maintain smooth, stable performance — without overheating your system or degrading visuals.Older cards can finally run the game without major stutter or heat issues. Powerful GPUs can unlock visuals the developers never fully realized. Every config includes DLSS and Lumen tuning — nothing is left out.These files are large because they include a detailed logic structure. They aren’t bloated — they directly control key rendering systems to balance load and improve efficiency.
Installation Guide
– Download the archive.
– Open the folder that matches your GPU name (for example, RTX_3070 or RX_6800XT).
– Inside, you’ll find an Engine.ini file and a README.
– Copy the Engine.ini to the appropriate folder, replacing the existing file after making a backup:Steam and GOG: %localappdata%\Stalker2\Saved\Config\WindowsGame Pass version: %localappdata%\Stalker2\Saved\Config\WinGDK- Follow the recommendations in the README for your GPU.To uninstall: simply delete the Engine.ini file and launch the game — it will automatically generate a new one.
