Subtle Laser Sight
Reduces the thickness and visual intensity of the laser sight for a subtler and more immersive look. Invisible laser version also available.
Hello stalkers,
This mod refines the laser sight in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 by reducing its thickness and visual intensity. Instead of a thick, glowing beam stretching across the entire screen, the laser is now a slim, semi-transparent line that subtly flickers in and out. Recommended for immersive playthroughs and anyone who thought the vanilla laser looked too cartoonish.
Please note that this was just a quick edit in the Zone Kit and I haven’t tested it extensively. Feel free to report any issues, but I can’t promise I will be able to fix them.

Installation
Unpack the files in the following directory: Steam/steamapps/common/S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2 Heart of Chornobyl/Stalker2/Content/Paks/~mods
Compatibility
This mod edits the following files: NS_LaserAim. It may not be compatible with other mods that modify any of these files.
This mod edits the same files as Enhanced Combat VFX, so if you want to play with both, my mod needs to be loaded after that mod to work properly. Mods are loaded alphabetically – I’ve already named the file to load after it, but if you still run into issues, try renaming my mod with a prefix like “zzz_” to ensure proper load order.
