“Zone Unchained” is a true freeplay modification that cuts the cord of the main narrative, dropping you into the full, unforgiving world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 with one simple directive: live your own life.
Your Life, Your Story
You are not the protagonist. You are simply another stalker.
You begin your journey in a random part of the Zone—perhaps on a lonely, overgrown bridge—with a humble but effective loadout. Your inventory is sparse: a worn AKS-74U, a Makarov pistol, a basic armored vest, and just enough supplies to see you through the day.
From this moment, your PDA is silent. No one is guiding you. Your choices are entirely your own.
Features:
No Main Quest: The primary storyline has been completely disabled. You are free from its demands and can explore the entire Heart of Chornobyl at your own pace.
Total Sandbox Freedom: Every side quest, every faction, every A-Life system is still active. The Zone is alive and dynamic, but it no longer revolves around you.
