Microsoft to Debut STALKER 2 Demo at Gamescom 2023
GSC Game World’s STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl was notably absent from the Xbox Games Showcase in June, but it might be unveiled publicly by August.
Insider Tom Henderson reveals that STALKER 2 will feature at gamescom 2023’s Xbox segment along with other games. He states that attendees won’t just see but also get hands-on experience with STALKER 2, as demo versions will be accessible.
Alongside STALKER 2, Microsoft will present Forza Motorsport and the co-op shooter Towerborne at gamescom 2023. Henderson indicates that the Xbox team is fully prepped for the event.
Gamescom 2023 kicks off with Opening Night Live on August 22nd and runs from August 23rd to 27th in Cologne, Germany, with Microsoft confirmed as a participant.
While STALKER 2’s official launch is set for 2023, sources from the Herald of The Same Stalker community speculate a delay to February 2024.
STALKER 2 is in development for PC platforms and Xbox Series X|S. By the end of May, a test version of the game surfaced online.
